Toj ART - Diary of Blackout - About my work

Welcome to my gallery, featuring a collection of my pictures, paintings, drawings, observations, and coming soon, jokes.

The artwork presented here is organized by theme rather than technique. These themes reflect the meanings and circumstances surrounding the creation of each work rather than a specific period of time. Some ideas took many months or even years to mature before being realized as pieces of art. Despite the long intervals between creations, I know that they belong together, so that's why I’ve arranged them sequentially. For me, each piece reflects a pivotal moment when my understanding of the world was either firmly reinforced or dramatically changed. The art captures both immediate sensations that demanded portrayal, and enduring themes that required deep reflection to distil their essence.

Take a moment to reflect and listen to your instincts. As you view the art, consider your first impressions and the deeper emotions the image may evoke. Although first impressions are important, spending more time with each piece may uncover hidden layers of meaning.

A special section features paintings from the therapy room, titled “Soul on Grill”. Here, two people and two worlds, perhaps similar, perhaps incompatible, coexist. In the same room, furnished with two chairs and one door, extraordinary things happen. In those moments, previously unrecognized emotions are named.

Suddenly, it is now possible, and even acceptable, to perceive and fully experience the emotions and thoughts happening within you.

Perceive and don't budge
